Biography
Marisol Santana is a French artist-designer whose work explores the connections between memory, craftsmanship, and storytelling. Drawing on her nomadic family heritage, she approaches creation as a visual anthropologist, reinterpreting vernacular traditions and their symbolism through the lens of design.
She holds a Master’s degree in Textile Design from ENSAAMA and a Master’s in Design, Project Creation, and Transdisciplinarity from the Mobilier National. Her practice is situated in a dialogue between expertise and transmission. In 2023, she was co-recipient of the Prix du Mobilier National at the Design Parade Toulon with Lou Cabanoun.
